Rota Lightweight Wheels

Ok guys/gals. I started the process of contacting Rota about some wheels for our cars. They said they will do it, and I could order a set. Also, it seems the more wheels ordered, the cheaper the price will be. I will contact their USA rep. for more information on pricing/quantity. Rota wheels are the best bang for the buck in the lightweight wheels department. Subaru forums pretty much swear by these wheels. They also make 17x8" wheels for people who want some seriuosly sticky rubber and weight reduction in the future like myself.

Lets get a running number of those interested, so I can have an idea of a rough quantity.

Here's their website to check out the styles:

That is cool. Some one willing to do something.

I like the VXR and the Battle. But I don't think that I will be doing any rims too soon.

I would make sure the actual wheels you are getting are lightweight. Alot of Rotas in 15" and 16" form are light but when dealing with anything bigger they're alot heavier. My 17x7.5" Rota Slipstream weigh in at 20lbs while the 16" version are something like 15lbs and the 15" wheels at 11lbs. Still not bad but I don't see many weight savings beyond 16"

I like the circuit 8s, boost, and the Tarmac. The Tarmac would look awesome on my black SS/SC.

Wow, keep this list going so I have a huge number of people to show the desire. I'm in for some 17x8" D2's, Sub Zero's, or Torque's in gunmetal or black.

Exactly how "lightweight" are they? I'd go for some light weight 17s if the price was right, just for a set of auto-x tires.

Put me in for a set of Flat Black Subzero's in 18x7.5 if they will fit our stock tires or if not I am sure I can find some better tires to put on these babys. I think the flatblack would go with my black and blue scheme. Plus the stock wheels get too dirty too soon.

Best Regards,

Message: I would like to know if it would be possible to order a set of wheels drilled with the 5x110 bolt pattern my car has. I\'d like to have some 17x8\" lightweight wheels for my car, and it seems that hardly any companies are interested in making them. I\'d be interested in the D2, Boost, Torque, or Subzero\'s. I\'m not to fond of my heavy factory 18\" wheels needless to say. Most of the owners on the cobaltss.net would probably be interested as well if you need to attain a certain amount of orders in that bolt pattern to do it. Thank you for your time.

Hi Billy,
If you can get more people interested, I can order for you.
Kim
