Tire rack also seems to believe that our cars take a 225/35/18 Conti from the factory...
:thumbsdow |
Good find! I like the OZ racing wheels myself. Now that I have all-seasons, I'll be sticking with the stockers for a bit longer.

These are the only rims worth buying...
They are light weight, look sweet and wont fall apart on you while hittin up a few track days. Weight: 18.5lbs. Price $348 http://www.tirerack.com/images/wheel...mblk_ci3_l.jpg |

See, the great thing about the O.Z's is that, not only are they functional as a light weight wheel, but they have a non-flashy design as compared to some of the other wheels listed for our cars.
Fake 2pc wheels detract from a wheels design, as well as 2 different colors. Everybody and their mothers have lips on their wheels, as well as a black finish too. Contradicting, if I could find a set of BBS LM's in 5x110 with proper offest, then I would be fapping. These wheels can get away with a minor lip because they are a true 2pc wheels, and also a timeless design that has many phonies trying to copy. |

Someone needs to contact tirerack and confirm if these wheels will fit over the brembo brakes. Also be sure to tell them they have the wrong tire size listed.
Personally, I like the factory wheelsa lot. However I love the black light wheels but 1400 for wheels only is too expensive for me. |
If that's too expensive, then don't change your wheels out for some gaudy cheap wheels.

:thumbsdow I wasn't planning on it.....The TC is going to stay close to stock(eventually it will be lowered and a GM stage 1 tune). I have a 1970 chevelle that I am restoring that car takes up most of my money and time. For 1500 I can buy the wheels and tires that I want new. |

Due to the pricing of these rims, I think as much as it pains me, I'll be throwing winter tires on my stock rims for this first winter at least. I'll just have to wash the rims/car a bit more frequently. Unfortunately we just got our first decent snowfall, and as such time has run out (and the funds are not available to spend $1.4k-$2k on a set of rims and tires.
Hopefully by next summer someone will have some nice steel rims that fit, or some dirt cheap rims that can serve no purpose but to hold winter tires :) |
