stock rim size

hello everyone . this is my first post here
im trying to get some aftermarket rims and use the same tires i have on my stock rims because i got a set of snow and summer tires and im not trying to buy new tires. so what would be the right size rims to buy? my tires are 215 45 18.
i tried searching but i got many answers and im not sure.

For reference.



Need model info, but going off tire size you have there you need 18s', 7inch wide 5x110 bolt pattern, can't say on offset without knowing which cobalt you have.

Stock size for the SC cars is 18x7. I forget offset off the top of my head, but it's something like 42.

Also, for what it's worth, the stock tire size on those is a wierd size. Most people, from what I've seen, go to a 225/40 or 225/45 as they are both much more common sizes, and therefore cheaper.
