for a good all season tire that can still be used for a summer tire i recommend the bfg g-force super sport. Its an ultra high performance all season tire, this tire has awesome wet and dry traction, ive been in some snow also and for an all season tire they are awesome.

bfg g-force super sport are summer tires...

bfg g-force super sport A/S are all season ;)

I have the summer ones and they grip pretty damn god, Plus they do alright in the snow which surprised the hell outa me since they are summer tires

I looked on TireRack earlier and they recommended a 225/45 tire for 18x8

I've got Blizzak WS-50's

Great Wet/Dry Traction, and even better Snow traction!

The grip better than my Potenza RE050a Pole Positions on dry pavement under 40 degrees!

Me too, 225 45 ZR18 All season's. I live in Ohio and got to drive them on ice roads just a couple hours ago and the did very well but I was still going slow!!! For the record, I haven't found a tire yet that is GODLY on ice! I usually see more 4X4 trucks in wrecks than anyone else when there is ice out, they think they can drive in anything.

WhiteSSBalt 12-16-2008 07:22 PM

Condoms: Lifestyles, Trojans, Durex....whatever I have in my condom drawer at the time.

Tires: shitty ass Nankang Ultrasport NS-II's on my 19"s.

1badBlueberrySC 12-16-2008 07:23 PM

OE Pirelli's

FORCE-FED_06SS 12-16-2008 07:29 PM

i rock the kdws i used them in the snow, from a stop terrible! rain and dry great love them they are alomst to wear bar not they are a little sick on tight twistys over 70mph but thats prolly cuz i push it a little hard sometimes but breakin the ass loose is fun once in awhile. thats about all that solid rear axel is good for. i think ill try potenzas next time tho.

07blackg5 12-16-2008 07:32 PM

i have cooper zeon zpt all season performance tires. they are great for my use, and i drive my car hard. but i have a 2.2, idk about you sc/tc guys. but handling wise, they are great. and they tank in the snow.

so you can see the tread pattern:

205 on an 8" rim=NO! WAY too narrow! I wouldn't go with anything less than a 225/40, 215 at the very least! I have 235/40's on the 18x8 wheels in my sig.

Those of you driving on summer tires in winter should stay off the roads...

Blizzaks for me because I got a good deal on them... any snow tire is going to be kick ass in winter though.

QFT! I don't understand these people who say "I can't afford snow tires". Can you afford to total your car and pay a deductible and have your insurance rates go up? Can you afford to lose your life? If you must, go into debt to buy snow tires!!!!!!!!! Otherwise, this could be your car. I lost some hearing in my left ear when the airbags went off. The air pressure popped the side window out of the frame and popped my eardrums.

Magnums my ass. An arm can fit into a regular rubber and if you need a "bigger" rubber, no girl would ever want to ride the beef rollercoaster.

saunders1986 12-16-2008 10:18 PM

i have the BFG KDW2 they are toast... lasted about 8 months of summer use.... but i drive pretty hard.... this year i'm gonna get some yokohama sdrive see how they hold up lol
