Ok this needs to be yellow stickied moderators please.

GM HHR 16" steel rims fit our cars very well.
Part# 9594785 shop around though.
I paid $69CDN each and the dealer across the street wanted 161.99Cdn.

JonyyB 12-03-2006 12:48 PM

I would try to get something better then steel wheels for the same or better price.

I got a set of HHR wheels and tires with only 1,500 miles on them for less then what I would pay for steel wheels + new tires.

Check out ebay and chevyhhr.net for good deals on 16” aluminum wheels

Also all G5 and most SAAB wheels will the Supercharged SS

Will the 16" steel wheels off an 07 LT fit on an 06 SS SC?

Im ready to buy some just not sure they will fit.

Thanks
tim

They list a part #9595389 16X6.5 for 07 Cobalt $95.00 Can :ca: nothing for 06 but they are the same I am pretty sure.
Another #95955769 16 X7" $69.00Can:ca: offset but service manager thinks the 1/2 in extra might create interferance on inside wheeel well.
Idonot know why the price differential my guess would be moere metal on the ones meant for the Cobalt.

Or got to Canadian Tire. Make sure you specify the engine size when looking the part # up though.

Car is super dirty. I gave a quick rinse. It was recently "rust checked" so I couldnt give a complete wash for 24hrs and it was sloppy out anyway. I am lucky a car wash is within 3 blocks of my house otherwise I wouldnt even have bothered.

suburbanrobot 12-22-2006 10:00 AM

tire rack has 16" steelies

Alpine_Canada 12-22-2006 11:54 PM

So got my car today with the HHR steel rims. Rim's work awesome. I'll post some pics in the morning hopefully.

Nice set-up. I have a question though. I already have a set of snows on my '92 Beretta GTZ (205/55/16).....will this rubber fit onto that type rim? At first glance, I don't see why not.

rjc333 08-02-2007 07:20 PM

I'm pretty sure the steel wheels on a '97 and up Malibu will fit our cars as well, or so I've been told by a local wheel shop. One website listed the Malibu wheel at 5 X 115, and since ours is 5 X 110 I'm not sure if there will be a fitment issue, but is sure is a close fit.

Renesis 08-16-2007 09:19 PM

I know I'm bumping the heck out of this but since it's a sticky I guess it's no biggie.

I want steelies but special 5 spokes one that came on G5 SE's and some Cobalts (picture 2)

http://www.trademotion.com/schematic.../F/FP07230.gif

do you know if they make universal ones? cause GM asks like $200 USD each, which is a darn joke!!!!!

HatedCobalt 08-16-2007 09:29 PM

those stelies where stock on my 07 LT2 i sold em for like $250. they are pretty badass lookin.

Renesis 08-16-2007 09:55 PM

^that's exactly what I'm looking for!

JonyyB 11-04-2007 01:34 PM

snow will be here soon.... time for snow wheels!

SSturb 07-21-2008 10:42 PM
