White wheels for Cobalt TC + Offset question

Hey guys,

I'm planning on buying new wheels for my Cobalt and I think white wheels on victory red cobalt look awesome, so this is what I'm looking for. For the last couple days I've been going through wheels websites.. but I could not really find what I was looking for.

Does any of you know any good white wheels for a Cobalt TC ? Ideally not too expensive.. around 1.2k would be my maximum. Or do you guys think I would be better of buying another color wheels and powder coat them white ?

Also, one thing I have noticed when I looked at the different wheels is what they call offset. From what I understand, when your wheel is offset is kinda stand out of the car, right ? I always see some nice cars with those type of wheels, but they have a dropped suspension and I think that's why it looks good. I still have the stock suspension, having an offset would make my car look weird, right ? Also, if you buy wheels with offset, do you have to put spacers or something like that ?

Thank you !!

Ive got white wheels on my balt. You have to make sure you are looking for wheels with the right lug pattern 5x110 (not many options in this bolt pattern) or you will have to switch the lug pattern. Second every wheel has some type of offset- just depends on how much you want (if you are going for "stance" or what). Next thing you have to think about is how often you wash your car. white wheels show everything after about 100 miles i take my wheels off and clean them. They do not hide the brake dust obviously and the brembo brakes love to **** all over them.

Wow your car is awesome dude, that's pretty much exactly what I want !!

What are your wheels ? Did you bought them white or did you paint coated them ? And yes, when I'm looking for wheels I enter my cars specification on the website and it only gives me wheel that will fit on the car. I'm also aware that they are a pain in the ass to keep clean, but I wash my car regulary so that's not really a problem with me !!

As for the offset, I've read that the stock wheels offset is 42, so I would need to find wheels with the same offset ? What happens if I get wheels with.. let's say 35 mm offset instead or 42 ?

Thanks !!

MSRs are nice wheels for the money. There's not a lot of options out there in a 5x110 bolt pattern...MSR has several options...the 045s are a popular design and look great on these cobalts...they look good on the HHRs too.
