I'm running a 17x9 +35 and have a fingertip of clearance on the front strut for reference.

when I get the car, I wasn't planning on lowering it SO much, because the wide wheels... was thinking springs or I may even get coils still but not max them ofcourse

No problem. To be honest, I am unsure if anyone on here has run a 10" wide wheel. I think someone has done 9.5 You might want to add suspension upgrades into that if you're looking to run something like that. I don't think the stock suspension will be able to keep that from rubbing or causing damage.

I'd recommend Koni, but that size will probably be adventuring into coilover territory. Also some fender rolling and possibly wheel well liner removal. It will require some work for sure.

Problem is these cars have a fixed beam in the rear, so it's going to be hard to tuck the tire in to avoid impact with the body lip. I believe some have shimmed the back, but I don't know how far they got to be successful. The front you can camber pretty easy with coils

alright, cause the the rubber i was planning would be a little stretch.... and id have the 17mm on the back, which means no low, or not very much..... i just really want to have these wheels on, they are so sweet and ive never seen any cobalt person have them on before ;O

Ya gotta pay to play if you dare to be different. I thought I was the only one running what I have, then a quick seach yielded one other car but in different color
