Nice, I hope they do a refresh on the interior like the radio and A/C controls, and including the vents! Those vents are horrible! Not to mention the cupholders too!
Great stats though...I am interested in the price...prob going to be considerably more than we paid....hope they fix the sunroof issue as well.

I am definately not getting the sunroof. No need to have extra crap that can go wrong with an awesome car. I am gonna get the 6 speed manual with LSD if optional, and Recaros if optional, and that is it.
Ooooooooooooooooooohhhhh!!!! I can't wait!!!
Like I said in another thread. You can buy through the Costco Auto Buy Program. You can get the car for the same price as an employee would pay.
Just trying to help out.

For 2008, the Cobalt SS will be turbocharged. For 2009, the 2.2 will be the LAP instead of the L61.
There is also a possibility of a six-speed manual transmission.
Designed for a torque rate of up to 400 Nm, the new six-speed manual transmission by Fiat-GM-Powertrain, internally named F40 transmission, is a new torque transmission benchmark for FWD cars with transverse engine and transmission installation. Development of the new transmission was led by Opel Powertrain GmbH in Rüsselsheim, Germany. It was first used in the Opel Signum and Vectra in combination with the 2.0 Turbo Ecotec, the 1.9 CDTI, and 3.0 V6 CDTI Ecotec engines. During the development phase of the compact, low mass manual transmission, simple matching provisions for Saab, Pontiac, Fiat, Lancia, and Alfa Romeo models were also included.

Im a little interested to see what they change to get that much hp reliably, considering the problems many are finding now. That may help us SC owners to safely 'up ours. Would be nice if it was simply slapping in a new fuel rail or something like that.
To me the SC was the one thing that kep (in my mind atleast) the car from being just another ricer. But HP is HP, and sometimes it hurts to be different.
