RPD wiring

Trying to install the RPD I picked up, I did many searches and only came up with the post titled "A quick how to on installing the RPD" Its the only thing I could find that explains the wiring. However, The Pics are deleted off the post so I dont know what pins are what on the pigtail harness. They are not stamped in the plastic in the connector. Does anyone have this saved or have a picture that details what pin is what letter? I pm'd the original poster but he hasn't been on here since 2014. Thanks

Here is the Post. I found this and it explains everything. No installed pictures but with the pin lettering its easy. Just scroll down the post to the connector diagrams. I actually hooked mine up this weekend. I kept the boost gauge as well. Was pretty easy to do. I soldered and shrink wrapped pretty much everything. It took about an hour. Now I need to get my interceptor. If you need help let me know, PM or email me.

You need the harness, the RPD, the pillar from the coupe, the pillar from the sedan, some molding, soddering, and time. Although it looks cool, it might just be easier to get the aeroforce or a AEM gauge.

Im not sure why it wont open. Here it is again. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/08-1...er-rpd-133625/ Also this link is important also https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/08-1...pd-uaf-184256/. If they still dont open go to google and search "Cobalt RPD Install" and "Cobalt RPD part Number" the pages will come up. That is how I found them. As far as installing in the Sedan, Slowbalt SS is right. From what I read the pillar is a pain in the ass. You have to frankenmold the coupe and sedan pillar but the rest is the same. It cost me about 425 dollars to install the RPD. That was with the RPD, ZZP pillar and harness. I also got a deal on a New RPD with the pillar for $250 which helped. I like the RPD, I kept the factory boost gauge and I am still getting an aeroforce to fill the last hole in the pillar. If you have the stuff already it may be worth it. Dont know if you need it but I might be listing a brand new factory coupe RPD pillar in the classified section soon.

Got it!

Yeah I already had everything, the rpd, connector, pillars etc...I just wasn't sure of the wiring cause I can't read mine they are worn off somehow so I can't tell which pin is which. The pillar mold only took me a couple days to get right. I wish I would have did 2 52mm pods vs 1 and the rpd, but too late now. It'd be sweet if someone could post a pic of the pins and which is which.

All the info you need is in the two links in the above post. If they don't open google them exactly how they are written and they will pop up. The first link (RPD PART NUMBER) has a picture/drawing of the connector showing how the pins are situated. Its half way down the post. Its useless for someone to send an actual picture of the connector cause they all come the same way, white and unlabeled. Go GM.
