Turbo Upgrade

Im not sure if this is where i should post this but as the title says i am going to upgrade my stock turbo to the zfr turbo. I have tried searching and havent found a solid answer to my questions which are 1) How much power can the stock engine handle ive heard from 400 600 hp. 2) I have all the basic bolt ons and zzp tune and clutch masters stage 1 clutch(stock clutch was burning) what else do i need to get for the new turbo(ex. Valve springs cams pistons) if the stock internals cant handle the bigger turbo? Im extremely tired and probably forgot something but any help is appreciated thank you.

The engine can handle 400 safely depending on your tune, and 450 for at most 2 years. But you will spend a few grand on your trans first when it breaks cause it will break.

Yep I learned the hard way when my 3rd gear jumped out while having some fun on the road. And I was just fully bolted n tuned on a pretty nasty street tune

off topic but my idle is really rough on a cold start and matt from zzp double checked my tune file for my mods everything is good it started after I installed Hahn intake, could it just be normal from aftermarket intake or vacuum leak, dirty throttle body???? thanks everyone

That start up problem is common and the most likely culprit is coked valves.

^this it's likely that your valves need cleaned.
I would recommend you spend just a little more money at werks and at least get the 4.05 gears or buy them from a member. 4.45 hears are the best for longevity of the trans but they are expensive and hard to find. Talk to Mongorat on here that's where I got mine. They help the trans to handle the torque better.
Tom77- why is it opening a can to talk about werks? That's where I had planned to do my trans also. Would gladly go with Powell but shipping the trans back and forth was too expensive. Even though Matt doesn't work there anymore he still gave them a thumbs up for doing the trans.
