Wheres the HP Tuners for the SS/SC?
I know theres horsepower tuners out there for the Cobalt SS/SC but where can I get some information on them and maybe purchase one. I want a plug and play. I heard somewhere on here that they aren't really good and they can mess stuff up. I basically wanna turn off the speed limiter and such. Any info on these and where i can get one is Appreciated. THANKS
I've already seen hptuners.com Any where else for something like a hypertech or powerprogrammer?
I'm not sure how the tuner from hptuner works. I'm a newbie to the cobalt and i don't want to mess it up and expecially because its supercharged and all. Is that something I would be able to understand and do on my own without knowing much about tuning?

First off there is no speed limiter on the SS S/C,
now if you mean the rev limiter don't go over 7400rpm if you do remove it unless you do internal work.
Second yes it can mess things up you want to get a expert to tune you or take things slow and teach yourself.
and last the only tuning at the moment is HPTuners.
Any questions ask.

Actually there is a speed limiter with the stock tune, at least on my 06 I had. It was set to 149. You won't hit that stock unless you find a long down hill.

I've touched the 160 mark on my speedometer a couple times, but I'm sure that thing isn't that accurate that high.
I bet Stage 2, maybe a 2.8 pulley would be able to get you to it. I won't be a hypocrite and preach that those speeds are way to high.

I work at a dealership and all the techs make fun of me cause i drive a cobalt... they say its a girls car. Its to fast for a girls car.. Altho it is like an updated cava. but imagine going 160 in one. I mean idk to me thats pretttty fast alot of mustangs and **** don't do that. I traded my 06 Jeep rubicon that was lifted 7inchs and had to many mods to list for a 07 cobalt... now i gotta mod allll over again
what exactly is a reflash?
