07 2.2 lt p0340

Okay guys, so I have a 2007 lt with the 2.2 ecotech in it. I'm getting a check engine light reading as p0340. I replaced the sensor and I'm still getting then CEL. Car has brand new plugs. Only mods are in intake and a cat back. I can't seem to get this figured out. Car turns over and misfires but will not start unless I keep hitting the gas pedal then it finally sputters and starts then runs just fine after. Any thoughts or suggestions?

It will misfire because it still thinks the camshafts are at different positions. You replaced the sensor, I would go back and check the sensor wiring for continuity to make sure the harness isn't damaged next.
