Honestly, Civic, Corolla are cheaper... not to mention I coulda even gotten into a Malibu at that price point. (Fiesta is also there for milage and is cheaper)
I just don't understand chevy's logic on this release is all... unless next years malibu is something retarded like 26k starting price. I understand your point... but I hope you understand mine as well...

Remember, boost pressure is irrelevent unless you factor in everything else.
16PSI on the stock tiny turbo is much different than 16PSI on a K04 or something larger.
The reason the turbo is so small is probably because of the lack of displacement (1.4L) and the fact that its not a performance version, so they wanted to have the turbo spool at the lowest RPM possible with the least amount of lag. That will please the majority of comsumers looking for a compact car.

I sat in one. When back and sat in the cavalier, looked at the curb weight of both, and wen. "Damn for an interior thats only marginally better with seats that are just as uncomfortable but in a different way, they managed to cram another 500 pounds into a car that I already consider a tab too heavy. ah its not like I look at the interior when I drive any ways."

Dude, the interior is WAYYYYYY nicer than a cavalier first of all. Secondly, its more like a luxary car interior. GM did a great job appearance wise and I am satisfied. Thirdly, when I got back into my piece of **** cobalt, I almost walked back inside and bought the damn thing. The cobalt is garbage and so was the cavalier. The key fob is the same or similar as an Audi's too.

We dyno'd the new Cruze the other day. It put down 117 and 116 whp. These pulls were done in 3rd gear, the same as Trifecta dyno'd. The power was also nearly the same, but the air/fuel ratio was in the low 13s until nearly the end of the pull where it richened up. Then we did a 4th gear pull, looking to pick up a couple hp, but this time it ran in the 10s for AFR and power dropped a few hp. In the end, it was about what we expected.

I'm also still waiting on an interface from an aftermarket that will allow an aftermarket headunit... (it will most likely happen but I'm curious if they made installation any more difficult... as GM likes to do... integration is great for those who don't give two ***** about a stereo...)
edit: (add) I wasent expecting race car HP's and will say that I thought id do a little worse (at the wheels) on the dyno... but close to my expectations...
