Ingalls & Warranty

Hi,

I plan on bringing my car in for some warranty work and a sem-annual maintenance without oil change. I just want to know, Is it best to remove the Ingalls TD before going ? Or do they not mind about this ?

Thanks

Gabriel

It would probably depend on the dealership. Some dealerships are ******** about any kind of non gm performance parts and some are cool about it. I would take it off just to make sure you don't get hosed. Since it only takes a couple minutes to take off.

Ok well, I guess I'll bring my car in without it and I'll maybe mention it to them to see what they say and if it's ok.

Thanks!

Don't bother mentioning it. No reason to point out things you've done.

I've taken mine in for warranty work a few times and they haven't said anything about it.

if anything the ingalls helps prolong the engine......but it is a sign of heavy acceleration.

My dealer thought mine was a good idea, but some dealers are dicks when it comes to anything like this.

I have never taken mine off. The dealer has said something about it but never anything to the effect of giving me trouble. If they ever did decide to give me trouble I would just tell them why I bought it - in rain and slick conditions the car has traction problems. It is almost impossible not to spin if the road is slick, and if it spins it gets wheel hop. If they think otherwise they better have proof to back up what they say or my lawyer will be breathing down their necks faster then a fly on ****.

If you are worried about it, remove the ingalls before you fo in for service, but the Ingalls should not void your warranty.

BTW we keep them in stock at www.TurboTechRacing.com

I guess I'll just keep it on, it's my only mod really other than the stage 2 by GM. If they complain, I'll just remove it and go to another dealer. There's a few that I have access to so I'm okay.

Thanks!
