Aren't the flanges warped on all the TOG headers?

What amazes me is that TOG did not create it to work with the stock gasket? WTF? When I buy a header I would expect to be able to pop it on, end of story...

IM gasket illiterate, how would I get one made to fit or what would it cost?

^^ go to napa and ask for some exhaust gasket material for the use on a head to header gasket. They will point you in the right direction. Its about $14 for a good size piece, i only needed a half piece and i have enough to make to gaskets. I took a rubber mallet and hammered an outlin against the flange. Then you can use some metal shears to cut it.

i'll get you a gasket if you throw in an extra $10, i have an extra one in my garage right now from when i cut three of them out to use up my sheet of material, they're not the prettiest things, but you can't see it when it's installed and mine has been on for over 7000 miles and hasn't leaked any

pm me if you're interested and i'll pull the auction down and sell it to you privately so i don't have to pay those damn ebay fees

I think you should be happy he offered you anything for the TOG header. The thread on the redline forum has to be 12 pages long with issues.
I'd throw in the gasket because he is taking it off your hands.

yeah and i started the thread about the gasket issues, this header isn't worth $450 or whatever it was, because the welds are sloppy, it's worth about $250 which is what i'm selling mine for

yeah.. there's some people running around all rampid trying to say i'm scamming people by selling them this header, because it's going to break and there's so much wrong with it... when i don't even think they have one.

as i said everywhere else, this header isn't worth $400+, $250 is a good price for it
