Hit by Civic

Driving home from work stopped at a light get plowed by a 96 Honda Civic....totalled the civic and messed up my bumper...pics to come tommorow but she hit me at like 55 and pushed me 10 feet destroyed the entire front end of her car and really just messed up my tailpipe and my bumper drove the car home GO COBALT!! lol i was really impressed by the way it held up in an accident very minimal damage

ya thanks....she has state farm and i have geico soo hopefully i can get it taken care of i would continue driving it but she bent the exhaust and it's kinda draggin besides i wouldn't mind a rental i can beat the hell out of for awhile...until then i am gonna enjoy the vicodin and flexorall they gave me at the hospital hopefully it will help my whiplash a little

i hit an 04 civic once......the civic's front bumper was totalled ....and my rear bumper wasnt dented at all!......only scratches and cracked paint ........yup...cobalts are nicely designed

sorry to hear about your accident but thank god you were okay with her going that fast and all. i hope u went and got checked out at the hospital because sometimes you wont feel it for a few days. trust me ive been there and done that....and now have unreversible damage to my right shoulder muscle.

holy christ man.......this kinda reminds me of the time when a 17 year old girl drove into the back of my fathers diesel. she totaled her car and all he needed was a new bumper...oh she was driving a dodge shadow.....

I know its been a while but i figured i'd give everyone an update....finally got the adjuster to look at my car(it's been two weeks already) and the final totals are:

Cobalt- $1977.48
Civic- $8429.99(Totalled)

yea just reminds me of how much i hate hondas...

Wow glad you are alright. I am really impressed at the Cobalt. If someone would have just showed the pictures and said those cars were in the same collision I would have said B.S.! That thing stood up really well.

Glad you are all right. Looks like many of us drive a safe vehicle!
