wing

can anyone on here give advice for taking the wing off. i have a low rise. i'm putting a high rise on. i unbolted the bolts in the trunk and its still stuck on there hard. i understand theres tape on the trunk but how would i get my wing off at this point?

heat it up with hair dryer or heat gun to soften it, then use fishing line to slice throu it. They remove excess with goo gone

can i still use the tape with my big wing. or get new tape?

no one around here has a cobalt and i dont kno where i would go to do that. soo i went this direction.

heat up ur trunk lid where the screws were under the lid.use fishing wire to cut through the tape under the wing and then close the lid and pull up.lay some towels across the top of ur trunk though so u dont scratch it up

after u get the wing off there will be a bunch of sticky crap that used to hold it on, put some goo gone on it and let it soak in, after that, roll as much as possible off with ur thumb and then take ur car to the car wash and use a high powered hose to wash the excess sticky crap off.
