Hate the SS rear wing, anyone want to trade an lt wing?

I love my Cobalt SS/SC but hate the rear wing (go ahead... call me too old)

But

does anyone have a Cobalt lt with the factory rear wing they want to trade?

oh yea... gotta be red.

If not i'll buy one and have it painted. Looks like the factory holes are the same.

the wing looks fine to me. it doesn't bother me that much. It completes the look. The LS spoiler looks weak.

i was thinking that not many wings will look good on the ss' the factory one fits the bill correctly. now if you were to change the body kit and put that 3 piece wing form gravanna tuning's website on there, then you would have a slick car

and for that razzi body kit... wtf were those guys thinking? that is quite possibly the ugliest sideskirt design i have EVER seen.

I noticed that the wing thorws all sorts of dirt down the back of my car while the rest is clean
we have had afternoon storms here about everyday this month, so driving home from work is always a messy adventure.

With some research and a few emails sent out, I was told they are not a direct swap. And the factory LS spoiler was quoted at $398 upainted to me by my dealer, and for that, I hope this means my dealer is considerably marking it up. That seems awfully steep to me...

Maybe in your opinion it looks weak but I'm more than happy with the look of the spoiler on my LS and wouldn't replace it with anything bigger even if I bought a body kit. I've just never been a fan of huge spoilers and neither have any friends of mine that have done up their cars...it's just a matter of taste.

I'm sure the LS (or just to confuse the hell out of everyone with 2006 branding LT) spoiler would go fine with the SS because the only true external difference body wise is the extensions and ground effects which shouldn't offset it too badly...don't take my word for it though !

I'm not sure how old you are but I'll be 58 in December and I think the spoiler looks on the SS/SC, if Chevy doesn't offer the same spoiler when it comes my turn to get an SS/SC I doubt I'd buy one. JMO

Chevytech,
If you find what you are looking for are you going to sell the SC wing???? I am in the market for one and being yours is already red, then it's a plus. I want to add the SC wing my SS N/A but really want to hold on to the one that's on it currently, car is a lease so I will need to put the right one back on when I turn it in (if I do that is)

Yeah the 2.4 wing is my favorite, I would trade with you but then I would have to have it painted, I don't care either way I drive a truck for a living and don't look out the back window

Thumbs up I have what you want

I have a 2007 cobalt ss that is not supercharged. It has the low profile spoiler that you want. I actually am looking for the high profile one and would be interested in trading. The color of the car is yellow, but I'm sure we can work something out. Email me back or reply ASAP!
