radiator question

Infront of the radiator there is like a smaller little radiator looking thing, does that have to deal with the radiator or what?

it helps with tranny temps, to keep them lower = able to push more power and save your tranny from damage.

Yah generally the bottom couple of cores of the radiator are for the transmission fluid, thats the two smaller fuel sized lines at the bottom.

the 2.4 when it came out was advertised to have a stock oil cooler that was taken away in 07.

Its is supposed to keep engine oil temperatures within a reasonable range. GM put it on some cars but then found it to be unnecessary, even under extreme conditions. They removed it as a way to cut costs and eliminate possible leaks.
