just look at the kind of cars he drives.
every american made car, he's never had anything good to say.
and if he has...
he always takes it back or turns it into sarcasm somehow.
although if i had a choice i'd go german.
but with the money i save on american made i could easily modify for less and get more.

i'll say this. he's right about american cars to a point. i mean he can lick the snot end of my **** stick for talking bad about american cars. i wouldn't drive anything else. but european cars are made with much better quality. if you have ever driven a porsche or a bmw you'd know what he is talking about. i have and they are awesome. but i still wouldn't take a foreign car over a covette. or my cobalt.
Um, guys, he bought one of the dozen or so Ford GT's they sold in Europe. He isn't biased against American cars.
Of course if you're an idiot, then his satirical "anti-Americanism" might offend you.
He's just telling it like it is. I like this review because American car magazines wouldn't dare say anything bad about the perennial American sports car. Clarkson gives a critical review.

top gear is teh shiznet, and the thing is, american made cars are crap, it's just that simple. yeah, the corvette is the cream of our crop, and it's a nice car, but as someone already pointed out, porsche and bmw and whatnot all have top quality vehicles. Now, I love my balt, but I doubt even the basest of base model bmw's wouldn't rattle like a kiddie toy like it does...
