Do your S/C SS's get

any wheel hop in 2nd gear??

When I first launched my 2.4L SS I got violent wheelhop. Now every luanch I do at almost idle. Of course this makes my 60ft time slow Have to work on that.....

But I get real strong wheel spin shifting into 2nd with some wheelhop.

Just wondering if you guys have the same problem

Yep I have the same problem. It seams that most ss,s and ss/sc,s do. Im looking for a good fix for this now. But so fare every thing I have found ethere is out of stock or others that have it have complaind about fitment or vibreation.
Iv been looking at motor and trans mounts and engine dampeners/torque mounts.

I get a wobble of some sort when shifting into 2nd all the time. The entire car shakes and wobbles. To avoid this I try shifting at a higher RPM

That sounds more like torque steer...

The only problem with getting stiffer mounts is you're going to increase cabin vibration....this may or may not be a problem for you but I thought I'd mention it

Another way is engine mounts or torque braces. I'm trying to get the ironman torque brace. It doesn't get rid of it completely (unless you have two torque braces such as the dual setup) but doesnt vibrate and gets rid of most of the hop.
