View Full Version : Over Spray
Turbo Wax 03-25-2008, 10:35 PM Today during a detail job I took a break to play around, here's the mother of all over sprays, the car sits in a yard next to a marine paint booth, what you see in the roof is overspray, the entire roof is FULL of it, actually the entire car, or what’s left of it, I was able to remove 99% of it with our bug and oxidation remover, it really did an awesome job, after that I use our swirl remover, pre wax and wax I did use the Porter Cable Machine.
Enjoy it.............

you can also use a sponge, the good thing about the sponge is that eventually some product stays there and less product is needed, we have had reports from customers of over 25+ applications out of a 4 oz bottle.

I use the little TW sponge. Works really well. You don't need excessive amounts of product as it spreads really well. Lots count of the number of applications, groomed way too many cars.
Nice job on the roof too by the way. I have to have a go at doing half a bonnet or roof, oh or a door, that would cool, nice comparison.
rockkrawler628 03-26-2008, 10:06 AM why not use a clay bar on that overspray?? wasn't needed?

Bronzee 03-28-2008, 02:47 AM Hehe, look what I found to groom a panel of. This is a 1972, English P6 Rover, last registered in 1999, lol, more grass around it than car almost. Pretty insipid, gross colour, very faded paint, rusted out, yukky paleish brown colour, so it was a bit of challenge. Anyway, Bug Bar, Cleaner Wax, Swirl Remover, Wax, thank you Turbo Wax, check this out the clean panel!!

Shouldn't be too much of a major. I find the combination of the products really makes huge difference, superb results.
