Cobalt SS 2.4 + lowering springs

Heya,

So I've been through all five pages of the suspension forum and hadn't found what I'm looking for.

I run an '06 Cobalt SS 2.4. Sometime this summer I would like to lower it a few. I'm curious what springs are best for the 2.4L without swapping the struts?

I've also read that most springs for the SS/SC won't work for the 2.4. Is this true? Or will most springs work for the 2.4 as they do for the SS/SC??

im pretty sure ss/sc springs fit..

as far as strusts go..a local memeber is noticing suspention problems..he runs eibachs sportslines and oem struts..

the easy solution to this..put stock springs on and return it for warrenty

He has noticed problems after swapping both the springs and the struts?

Also...in the suspension basics thread, Eibach Sportlines are said to be non-SS??? So is this local not running a 2.4?

Ive been running sportlines on oem struts for sometime now (almost a year) and notice no problems.

no he just swaped the springs out
