How do I get my rear brakes off?

I'm having trouble taking my rear brake parts off and I didn't know if it was something normal or I'm missing a bolt or whatever. I'm trying to change my rotors and can't seem to get the calipers off. Any help would be much appreciated. Tried looking in the search section and couldn't find anything specific to my question. Thanks

This is where I'm at trying to get this off

I took out the 4 bolts that seem to be the ones that hold the caliper on but I wasn't sure what else I missed

there's slight movement as if it is gonna come off but I just didn't know if it was really tight for the 1st change or if something else was on

Hmm, if its moving then it cant be that the pistons are to tight. I changed my front with no prob, Took me about 20 mins, but Im changing the rear tonight so if you find out what is wrong let me know just in case i run into this problem.

ya if ur changing ur rotors a ny way give them a bit of a smack maybe it'll loosen things up a bit..and go back to ur e-brake and pull it up and let it back down again..u know gm sometimes things stick even when they're technically not supposed to be on..and when was the last time you shaved ur rotors?..it could be that u have a massive lip on ur rotor if so just chisle it off in one section ..rotate it so its under the caliper and pull im thinking thats prob what it is if you can wiggle it but not take it off...although it is rears so i duno man haha u shouldn't have that big a lip on the rears

my problem is similar cept I can't put them back on... I tried prying the piston in to make the gap wide enough to fit over the new pads but it won't budge... and no, the e-brake is not on...

any thoughts?? i'll try putting the e-brake on and back off tomorrow like mentionned higher here, but if anyone has any other ideas I kinda need to get this done before monday :P

with thw pads on you have to hold them tight and slide the caliper back on. I did it sliding it down with top first and pushing down to the bottom and they went right on
