225/45's work well from what Ive seen.

I will most likely be running this size once my 17's arrive

I guess I am running the biggest, 245/45-17 but mine is on an 8" wheel. It will fit a 7.5 though. The circumference is 3 mm larger than a stock ss/sc 18.

The Azenis RT615's are a badass tire for the money. I personally would make the BFG KDW2 my last choice out of those tires, Id say Azenis, MX's, or BFG G-force Sports(they are also a AA/A rated tire like the KDW2 but arent Z rated, and are better on the track, the KDW's seem to get greasy easy, I think the Sports are better at the limit)

Trust me, you don't want to cram a super wide tire on a wheel not designed for it. For a 7.5" wide wheel, 225 is perfect.

Direzzas are badass too. More money than the others, but good reputation.

The Michelin Pilot PE2 are supposed to be REALLY nice too. Higher price bracket though
