Whats the widest tire for the stock 15"?

I had to sell my aftermarket wheels and i'm back down to riding on 195s... what's the widest tire you can safely fit on a 15x6" rim?

215/55s sound right? I wouldn't want a 225 i don't think

depends on the width of the rim, I run 225's on my 15's on my dayonta, they are a 6.5" rim. they fir great!

It's a 15 x 6 so I think 215s would be a good width.

1010tires shows it's off by like 0.43% too slow from the stock diameter. I wish I could go with a 225 because there isn't very many 215/55s made
