Help

I just installed my Vibrant header/dp and my 2.9 inch pulley and it seems my car has lost power. What could be the problem? I dont have any CEL's or anything it just seems like the car is sluggish.

I have read that it seems like you loose power, but in fact you haven't. I think it was an0molous that said, it felt less powerful, but did the 1/4 mile faster.

The only sure way of knowing is taking it a dyno.

If there is a problem, it might be an exhaust leak or something.

Def should not feel less powerful with a smaller pulley and exhaust... You sure the belt is not slipping on the pulley? Stage 2 belt, right?

well, I assume you put bigger injectors and a tune to go along with the pulley right?

I am going to have to say, that in reading over it again, I did not realize that the pulley was changed. That could be the source of your problems, the other stuff should not affect much as I said before.

I seen that people ran the 2.9 with the stage 2 tune fine. I was wondering if there was a leak somewhere in the exhaust would this cause a noticeable power loss. Yes I do have the stage 2 belt.

I have the Vibrant H/Dp and Down low it felt a lil softer, or less powerfull. But It should feel stronger mid range and up... then again if your loosing power there is bigger problem
