Is anyone interested in starting up a vancouver meet? its just an idea right now, but I'd really like to get something going sometime!

well maybe we should get things rolling right here? people who are interested subscribe to the thread, we can settle on a date and plans! should be pretty sweet, and if we start now we will have enough time to make sure the most people can make it!

Okay so you guys aren't up for that. My Blurple Cobalt should be running soon so I will be able to make it it the near future.

Also keep in mind that sometime later this summer, you guys/gals may want to come out to see the red Cobalt come home. The crankshaft has finally arrived and the fabrication shop is 95% finished.

go karting would be pretty fun, and as for a drive to whistler, that would be pretty rad, esp if we meet up in vancouver and all drive up together, it would be sweet to see a shitload of balts driving down the highway together!

 

I am afraid to guess because everything always goes sideways after I do.
Right now, the best case scenario is sometime in July.
Sadly, that will likely be July '2010.

The first completion date (albeit for a much smaller scale project) was August 15th, 2006.
I have been waiting over 23 months now.

how about this we set up something like go karting for likea thursday, at tbc they got u pay 70 bucks and u go kart for an hour straight . it seems like a alot but its so much fun. if not its 11 bucks a race mon-thurs.

 

I will for sure... It'll be after next week sometime after the hood is painted/installed. Also changing to gen 3 projos w/ new set of 6000K hids...I've seriously maxed out my credit card 3 times in the past 2 months on car mods LOL!!

I'm out in Ridge, so I'd be game for a meet in the area, I booked off a week to go see Edmonton and attend the Western Canada meet, but anytime during the summer would be sweet.

I decided to try and play with a G35(whatever their sport trim is) in my stock 2.4L, they're faster than they look, but it was close.

 

any details on when this will be going down? I was thinking myself, why not a cruise to Cultus Lake from Vancouver mid-end of May??? That'll be a nice drive... maybe have a day at Waterslides/Lake meet? I think they still have go carts out there, not sure though.

on a side note guys, i might be working on s/c swap either next month or june and i thought we could make a meet out of it?
