New 2008 LS just few questions

Hey all i havent been around for 3 years but now im finally going to get a cobalt!!

Just a few questions that i was wondering..

The people with 2.4 intake, full exhaust and a CAI...
What kind of mpg are you seeing when taking it easy (and then when you drive it hard)..
Plus what kind of difference are you seeing with this?

Also just a quick question about Cold start... Thats when you wake up, get in the car, start up and leave correct?? No waiting to warm up or anything..

I just wanted to ask a few questions because i dont plan on making this a race car.. I do like to mess around tho.. I cant leave nothing 100% stock... my first upgrade will be the CAI just because i hear it will improve mpg.. My main concern is staying above 32 mpg on highway because that is what 80% of my driving is..

Thanks in advance..

LOL...A cai wont increase mpg because you will drive it harder just to hear how good it sounds now...

yeah he's right....but it will up your gas mileage quite a bit if you take it easy....I went from here in vegas to prescott, AZ which is 272 miles @85mph and it took me half a tank....or just over 6.5 gallons.....and thats great for that speed....and all I have is CAI too......comes out to be about 40+/- mpg.

BTW get the one off JDMParts or Ebay....its 30$ and does considerably the same thing as the 210$+ ones, but you'll have to put a little elbow grease into cleaning the welds and filing the MAF opening a little more...but alltogether worth the 180$ save....not to mention it sounds better.....

You'll have no problem getting over 32mpg highway. You should be closer to 10 with an intake.
