Well, it appears that since that last disaster Zoomer, the ZZP rep, has been hesitant to even consider another, so prices and numbers will be out as soon as we have ppl interested in depositing.

I was just throwing the question out there. Because I noticed that the 304 stainless upgrade says it is for the down pipe, but doesn't mention the header.

i believe the cat is smaller than that big ass canister on the LSJ downpipe...and with the 2.2 you would prolly want the 1.5" primaries and 2.5DP...:twothumbs

From what I have read, yes, it does make it louder. Also, it does seem to be useless, unless you need it.

Look at the other threads, a lot of knowledgeable people have written about it.

3 inch is only useful if you have other mods to support it like a smaller pulley turbo and things of that sort. not that you wouldnt feel a difference stock with the 3 inch but other mods help take full advantage of the 3 inch.

The way I figure it, these is a pricey header/dp, anything but stainless won't last very long. There is already a thread about ZZP header rusting, I believe it was just a fluke, but I don't want to take any chances.

I have no clue what's going on right now. I don't know if that's the case, I'm pretty sure we haven't been given a price yet.

The extra O2 bung is for thes secondary air temp reading if you get an AEM Wideband.

I don't know much more than that. I can't remember if it measures the temp before or after the cat or where it goes.

Just a point of clarification. There is new information (cut-off date, stainless steel upgrade, etc) on the first post!

As further clarification, the only stainless steel option in the combo is for the downpipe only.
The interest in the extra stainless steel upgrade is for the header, which is currently only produced in mild steel. Zoomer told me that if we had enough interest he they could be produced in stainless steel.


Advice, if your going to dish out $ for a header/dp combo you should make sure it is durable and long lasting, stainless steel won't go bad, where mild steel can go bad/rust. If they offer it is stainless steel, I will not take my chances, and will go for the stainless steel!
