No more SS Editions Aeroforce Interceptor??
Is that true, there aren't any more of the Aeroforce Interceptors?
If so then...
"doesnt the aeroforce jsut have a setting to where u can make it show the SS screen at startup? and i want to get one but i was wondering if the one like on Cobalt-addiction is the newest type and the correct one for 2.0?" - Texas SS
It's not that big of a deal, but I really like the SS editions with the whole "SS" at start-up.

You'll want to make sure the one you get is an SS edition otherwise I think you'll be missing the supercharger inlet pressure (intake efficiency) and intake mainfold air temperature (aftercooler efficiency) readings as they are not used in other vehicles.
The SS edition is still on their website so I would have to say it's still available. I haven't talked to them in a while, those are manufactured about 15 minutes from my house, actually picked mine up in person as I was one of the first to get an SS edition. Once in a while they call me in to test new software...kinda kewl. To make one into an SS edition only requires a software flash, no hardware change so I'm sure they will still make them.
There is no SS edition.
The entire PT lineup is all the same now... and IS fully compatible with the SS/SC.
I believe you can select your startup screen from the menu, and 'SS' is still an option.

It makes more sense for them to make universal gauges rather than vehicle specific gauges because it's cheaper and they can simplify their stock...still didn't put a backward button on the damn thing like I asked them to 2 years ago though...I love cycling through and missing intake 2 every freaking time.

Well I've had mine for a few months but it's not the SS edition which kinda sucks. If someone wants to trade... haha.
The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't turn on when I start the car, I have to unplug it then plug it back in for it to work. Kinda weird.

ok so I know this isnt gonna make any sense, but mine wouldnt turn off when I turned the car off. I had it hooked to the fuse that my AEM wideband is on now. The AEM turns on when the car comes on, and off when I turn the car off. I even hooked the Aeroforce to the damn boost gauge, but again, when I turn the car off, it stays on. I sat there one day for 5 minutes and stared at it to see if it'd shut down, but it never did. So now I dont even have it hooked up, and one of the buttons is stuck on it

Did you read the instruction first?
You need to pull the jumper on the back of the gauge. It will be red in color, and right next to the cable connectors.
I dont know what the deal is with it man, I bought it off someone on this forum. To be honest, it's been so long I cant even remember who, but it was originally part of a dual setup. I dont know if I even got instructions with it, I dont think there were any because I was having to post on here to figure the damn thing out.
