Heat exchanger vs. Dual pass

Which one should I get?

Should I tune after I get it or will it not play a role in my afr?
Should I wait to dyno after I get it or will they not affect dyno numbers?

Heat Exchanger for sure.
It can play a role in you're dyno #'s because it will heat soak alot more.

I just got the cx r h/e on the car after a battle with hose clamps from hell and dexcool showering on me, but now that she on there, it looks aggressive from the front and more importantly there is a TON of coolant in the system now. Ive got the cxr and i also did the dual pass +b at the same time. if you defer doing one or the other now, youll never do the other cuz its such a bit*&ch of a project youll dread it and have nightmares.

Without the remote reservoir and the dual pass, switching the laminova cores, there is a restriction in the laminova and ther will be air in the system...so the size of the aftercooler then doesnt matter. Quad did it right...

Dual pass netted better results with our testing.

Of course you are better off doing both with option B.

INFE...go ahead and start the DP setup and i think youll agree with me and do the 2nd h/e at the same time. the cxr is only $150 on ebay, although it to can be a bit*&^ch to install since you need to notch the bumper bracket. Yea, there are alot of other posts about h/e and the benefits.
