Sun Roof FTL

My sun roof control keeps falling out also the cover wont stay. The sun roof rattles and screws are loose. Ive tightened them down but its still loose and rattles.

I suggest not buying a sunroof.

Ill be taking it in this week.

Haven't had any problems with my sunroof. Of course, I have an '07. They might have fixed what was causing the problem by then.

Weird. My car is approaching the 2 year mark (it'll be two years old this October) and i've yet to have any issues with my sunroof.

You got an '07 like me bro. I think they fixed the problem sometime late in the '06 model year.

in 14k miles I've had 3 sunroof modules

I just put one in an N/A SS yesterday in 3 hours. Record timing for me! I've done a total of 2 now for sunroofs period.

Mine has a little bit of wind noise only with the sunshade open and mainly with highway speeds. I believe a little is normal. Otherwise, you may have to readjust the sunroof glass level with the roof or 0.5 mm above the roof. If your sunroof hasn't leaked you'd be ok to do this, but if it has leaked in the past and you took it to the dealer to have it fixed, then I would leave it be as it may create another water leak. Also, check to see if your glass is warped or uneven with the roof. That may create an air leak that can only be fixed by replacing the glass or having a body shop repair the roof (if possible). Not sure since I don't work in a body shop.
