bummed

took night off work,got car loaded on trailer...been watching weather radar all day,lots of rain lately in south florida...called the track at 5pm said it was clear out there and it was a go!...show up at 7,and they just called it off..sun was shining out,errr...going back tomorrow night but its no timers...

Wouldn't that be in the racing section?

Good luck today though. Sucks to hear that happened to you. 12.8 on an m62 would mean your car is a monster lol.

12.98@107 and broke something going into 3rd..got car on scale and it weighs 2510 lbs

yeah me too...there will be some nasty emails sent out regarding trans rebuild...if I thought it was gonna break id figure at the launch not going into 3rd gear..first run in went in fine

im gonna call bull **** on a 12.98 untill proof get rid of the radials

Whats done to the car? 12.98 is very possible on the M62. Just don't know your setup. The weight drop helps a ton.

Not really...

Back in the day Hatrickstu ran a 12.75 or 12.8 with a 265whp M62 car.

I ran a 13.0 @106.5 through the stock exhaust last year on 26" tall slicks with a garbage 1.95 60" with a ported head M62 car. Went 13.6 @109.7 back on stock head but with a real exhaust lol but that was on street tires. So its believable depending on setup.

Even ssKev, the local tuner up here in the Toronto area, ran a 13.0 on slicks and bolt ons, none of that funny E business either.
