07 SS/SC Vs Integra GS-R

Last night on my way to WalMart my neighbor in a 95 Integra GS-R with a Injen CAI, DC Headers and a Greddy exhuast, Lowered, B&M Short Shift and I think he said it had Skunk2 Valves and Valve Cover was toying with me so at the light I asked if he wanted to run it because the guy that owned it before hime said it was a low 14 sec car.

Well light turns green and we went from a 30 roll and it was even through 2nd then whe I got in 3rd I pulled 3 cars and stopped.

Play the theme music boys "bum bum bum, another bites the dust "

Just wait till you get stage 2, you won't need to wait until third gear to pull him.

GSR's are pretty slow unless they have a supercharger or turbo. I hate how people run around thinking they are fast....they're fast compared to a Geo.

Yoohoo, I own two hondas. Let's not start an argument. Stock GSR's have 170 hp or about 145 to the wheels. With bolt ons and PROPER TUNING, which very rarely gets done, you're looking at 160 whp. This is properly sized, by the way. The plain off the shelf DC headers have a 2" collector which will give you less performance than the ideal 2.5" collector of the DC JDM ITR header.

That's all he had. Even with a set of skunk2 cams, which I"m assuming are fairly mild, he would be netting around 170-180 whp. (if that's what the author thought he meant)

Torque would be hovering around 130 to the wheels...no wonder the cobalt smoked him. I highly doubt that is a low 14 second car...mid to upper 14 seconds is more like it.

BTW, I owned a type-R and a GSR before I bought my LS...they are not fast cars by any stretch of the imagination.
