Automatic Shift Knob

I have searched and a lot of ppl. were wanting to know if it can be done. All the threads were really old so I was wondering if anyone had figured out if it can be done. Any pics?

I donno if anyone has done it, but it can be done. Just find one that fits. Taking it off is the hardest part.

haha already got it off
it was actually pretty easy, put in drive with car off, twist chrome piece counterclockwise 3/4 of a turn and pull down....then you will see the screw. use an allen wrench to loosen and pull knob off

well i got to thinking...what happens inside of the shifter when you push the button in is a shaft is pushed straight down the shifter pushing another shaft down to unlock it. So my question is, are their any knobs that when you push the button it pushes down a shaft? I could always make the shaft on the inside as long as i want on an aftermarket to make it work. Just didn't know if anyone had really looked into it
