Hello Guys,
I want to take this opportunity and ask your opinion regarding our business model, there's no question what so ever that all of our products deliver as advertise and then some, not because I said that, but it has been proven over and over by 3 parties, our price structure we feel is very reasonable, if you compare other products in the same range we can match anyone's performance and in many cases we will even outperform leading brands, from easy to use to durability, there's no questions period.
So my question is, if you were us, how could you market your products ? I like to hear ideas and suggestions, "IF" you are one of those skeptics about our products, I also like to hear why, why don't you think our products are good ? what turn you off about our line ?
I'm not looking to bash anyone rather to learn from what is on the other side of the fence.
Please chime in :)

My opinion, I used the NXT stuff which was good but the Florida sun with no garage or anything well it sucks, and white powder FTL! Then I switched to Ice because it worked the best for the FL heat and no white powder after but it didn't last long at all, so I tried you out and I havn't even thought about turning back. I think my marketing strategy might be local car shows for FL, we all have heat problems and water dries so fast so make a demo like you have here on the forums. The swirl remover by far is the best product I've seen you demo hands down. Yup that's about it lol....

IMO the best thing to do is just make sure your product gets exposure and gets talk about amongst friends. Word of mouth is by far the best advertising. It may not reach the masses immediately but if you can get someone to tell his friends about your product and how great it is that goes ALOT farther then setting up a stand at some car show or being on a web forum. Sure both of those way will sell your product too but grass roots movements are how phenomenas get started.
I haven't used your product so I can't speak for it but I know I've sold enough people on Meq's products simply by having them on my car. I will have random people come up to me and ask what I'm using because it looks so good and they will try it themselves.
I think if I were a decent sized company like turbo wax I'd find some people on forums or whatever who seem to have a level head and are respected and just give out some free stuff. If you truly believe in your product you know they are going to love it then tell their friends both on the internet and in in everyday life.
Also if you want to keep the internet in your strategy branch out from css.net. Yes this is the biggest place but it's not the only. The hardcore tuners and modders are all elsewhere. There are also other sites where there is a hole different crowd that isn't here. I realize as a vendor you want to reach the most people and you are doing that, so maybe continue to do so and then branch out as well.

i agree Dreamer...i have sold many ppl on the Eagle One Nanowax just by having it on my car as well....especially since my car is black its definitely one of those cars that you need to go a step further in detailing.....like dreamer i have not used your product either, i've heard good things but i've no real reason to switch from a product a i enjoy using that works well...i'd advise maybe setting up some reliable consumers with a sponsorship from you for your products free and in turn attend car shows and hand out small packets of your products so that others may test and see for themselves...this helps in two ways- ppl that are happy with their product currently can test a small sample of your product w/o spending money on it to see if they like it, and also spreads worth of mouth advertisement in the local car communities

IMO the toughest thing for your type of product, is the ease in which someone can get your competitors from a store 5 minutes away.

thank you for your feed back !! some great ideas and I will look into them ! thanks
We do sponsor other forums, the main problem with some of the forums is that people don't want to learn, they have their mind set and is a hug task to educate them but we try :)
Sponsoring cars- has been a huge part in the past for us, the end result a complete disaster, people just want free products period, so we have completely move away from that, lots of promises and zero work, not cool so we are done with that.
I agree that you can go to the store and urchase a product, bt that is it, they are not to give you anything free like we do, they wont give you any advice either, we give you a personal touch and alot of people love that, BUT I do understand your point.
thank you guys

IF someone is trying different wax's it generally means they arent happy with their own or are experimenting to find a good one, <either way is the sign of someone who prides themself on the look of their car look and shine....as a dedicated person to my cars wax an shine i can vouch that i would go out of my way to get the wax i like no matter how hard it was....if i liked that wax an no other could duplicate its results...i'd find a way to get a hold of it one way or another
