Harrop V GM standard S/C

Hi Just wondering I have a standard GM S/C on my 2.2 VX220 here in the UK currently running 240 ish, I was thinking about the Harrop unit, I have done some reading on the forum but I don't seem to be able to find any before/after numbers on bhp as a straight swop. There seem to now be a number of people who have changed and wonder their opinion.

Any idea if this unit is a good as it seems to be?

many thanks

The "standard GM" S/C, as you call it, is called an EATON. They are the company that designed the new TVS. Harrop is just a producer of the TVS.

And for just a straight swap, stock pulley on stock pulley, you could probably see close to 300bhp... maybe more.

"Eaton" , cheers.

The pulley seems to be slightly bigger then 3 inch the car is running 8.5:1 cr as I need reliability( My every day car)

300 for a swop would be great I am planning on some major mods (well for me major)

I was thinking of doing this

new pistons approx 9.0:1, (reliability again)
Eagle rods
Ported head
cams
Injectors as I gather they need new ones
Ballance shaft delete
4-1 manifold and 3inch system

Keep the compression low if upgrading the blower ... stick with 8.5:1.
