Well today I got to head on up to the dealer to test drive the Cobalt LT I'll be purchasing. Got in, everything pretty familar since my buddy has a G5 GT. Took it out on a few roads around the dealership and area, not on the highway though. I love the interior and the ebony seats, they're comfortable and the interior looks real nice. Pick up/acceleration is great for havin the 2.2L. The engine noise is good, except for acceleration - but it sounds good when I do hear it. Braking is almost what I expected, could be a little stiffer. Turning and turning radius is pretty nice. The car can easily get around tight spots with ease. Rear visibility is better than I expected, but I've still got a few things to get used to. Overall, I love the car. I can't wait to seal the deal tomorrow evening. Glad I could get my hands on a nice LT, and good thing I remembered I had an account here at CSS.net - more to come soon!

Before buying your Cobalt look into getting the GMPP Performance intake and one of the Cat-Back Exhausts installed by the dealer before accepting the car. That way these parts will be included in the full warranty....and negotiate the cost for them too -- maybe theyll throw them in for a sweet deal at their cost.....
