Ok I have no clue where to put this but am very curious! Ok I have a 06 2.4L with an intake and no muffler (it is going back on soon)!!! Now we all know gas is hella expensive so I'm wondering? If I put back on my airbox and muffler do you think I'll get better gas milage?

If I wasn't in the money hole I'm in I wouldnt really care but I need my car now for my new job I use my cruize control whenever possible and drive smart now. So please tell me if I unmod will that help my issue?

Oh does the original airbox help or hinder the car? Its just that it is oddly shaped so?

 

Typicaly the CAI and better flowing exhaust should help efficiency of the engine and improve mileage when driving sensibly.

 

ya they should do nothing but help your mileage i say keep them.

 

Don't bother putting them back on......it won't make a difference.

 

Your foot will make the biggest difference!
