2.4 Throttle Body

I plan i getting tuned, and i have a nitrous kit waiting to set up. I was just wondering if the 2.4 throttle body is worth buying. Would it help my car at all? My Current mods are 2.4 mani, cold air intake, lsj downpipe and catback.

If you didn't have the 2.4 mani that i would have said no, but since you do yes, because your current throttle body is now restrictive because more air is flowing through the manifold.

Prepare for even less low end though.

Has anyone dynoed with a 2.4 TB yet? I thought someone did, but I can't quite remember.

Are you going to have Vince tune for the nitrous as well?

Be sure do throw up a dyno chart once everything is squared away.

form what i've hear the tune will allow the ecm to adjust the moment you start spraying so you'll be better off all around.

We tested with a 2.4 TB and found no gain at all so we stayed with the 2.2 TB

Good to know
I got the 2.4 Intake Manifold kit from you guys when it first came out
That was something I was not sure about whether I should switch to the 2.4 TB now that we have tuning for the 2.2's

me also...^^

I know i have had friends put TB on there cars and def a increase. For instance..a friend put a CAI and throttle body on..stock ran a 16.2 or something and then with CAI and TB put down a 15.7

half a second jump, can't say the TB did nothing..hard to believe that a CAI took a half a second off.
