Dynojet dyno results

Ill scan in the sheet later, but for now, 240.4 WHP / 256.4 WTQ.

Youtube video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjcIfc0v9j4

This was done at about 400ft elevation, 85*F ambient temperature.

(the other run got 242.8HP and 252.3 WTQ)

This was the first Direct Injection car they had dyno'd there. They were concerned about the WB02 output - between 3k and almost 5k the tailpipe WB was reading almost exactly 14.0, from 2k to 3k It was reading 15.5.

...and a shitty burnout I did later - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQPSsvRt-4o bouncing off the limiter and almost no smoke..

I'd love to see the graph. Compare it to other bone stock TCs and see what the ECU is doing. Curve wise - not number wise.

Sorry it took so long, my scanner broke and I had to do the Kinkos thing..

Run 3 the dyno operator tried a little brake boosting before the run - you can see it on the chart - didnt make too much of a difference. Of interesting note is the AFR at the bottom of the chart. Also see how the line is very jagged (when not smoothed). I wonder if that is a representation of the computer constantly trying to adjust the torque?

The jagged curve is 100% normal. Most tuners use a smoothing factor. Doesnt look like smoothing was applied to your graph.

Nice dyno. btw. How many miles were on your TC? I wonder if these motors will open up as they break in.

And did you have 93 in the tank?

93 octane in the tank, 3,300 miles on the car (so well broken in).

This guy has the HP tuners with the beta software, and was really pushing to tune my car . It was tempting.

Then thats a pretty solid graph! I wonder what the boost curve would look like. I've seen mine hold 17lbs in 75' weather. Which I would have thought the boost would be lower in the dense air. I'm still on the original tank of gas, so who knows if the dealer put in 87..

Don't let Creech tune your ride, he'll **** it up. I had to have my Camaro retuned after his tune, my car at idle would asphixiate you with gas fumes.

Premium is recommended, not required...so yeah, they probably put 87 in. I'm sure they did that with mine, too.
