me getting pulled over for my tint the same day i get it? seriously wtf? i ahve like the worst luck. i got 15% but i seen people with wayyy darker tint driving around. i hate copssss

 

wow that sucks, good thing cops don't say much around here. Only a few have a hard on for tint. Running with 5% all the way around on 2 vehicles.

naw he gave me a warniing. i told him i bought the car with it caus ei really did just get my SS about 2 months ago. he told me i have a few weeks to fix it.soo im plan is.. f**k it and im sitll gonna ride around with it until i get pulled over again, and when i do, ill just say "oh crap i forgot about that warning!!! ill get it done tomorrow i swear"

If it makes you feel any better, I get pulled over for my exhaust about once a month or so.

 

My buddy got a warning for his tints, and was told to report to the DMV so they could inspect the car to see that the tints were gone. That was about a year ago. He still has his illegal tints.

 

you guys gotta look up the specific tint law to your state. look for the loop holes. in PA, if you have tinted windows, either the two front doors need to be untinted, or either the front or rear windscreen. so pretty much as long as your windshield isnt tinted in PA you can fight it. i wouldnt go with limo tint, just because it stands out alot more, but it a ticket that you can fight easily.

its nice living in louisiana being registered in michigan. cops wont even pull me over here for tint with out of state plates. i got pulled over in michigan for tint when i was home on vacation a few months ago, i told him i was stationed in louisiana and i got the tint done there. he said have a nice day and to make sure i let the other cops know that if i get pulled over again.

Haha, that doesn't mean it's ok.I've been tempted to go below 35 put I don't want to have to pay to get 15% put on then back off and then 35% put on.My uncle was pulled over in his 300C with 35% because some how the cop thought it looked illegal.Obviously no ticket.

 

Around here your chances of getting pulled over for tint is about 9 out of 10. And yea, hate cops for doing their job! And dont give me "they have better things to do" you broke the law deal with it.

 

Our cops around here are pretty cool, i have 20% on the Cobalt, and 35% on the Caprice. Neighbours Rustang next door has 5%, and we haven't even got pulled over yet. (Any tint on front windows is unlawful in Sask)
