Don't need the module -- what difference did you feel with the HPTuners Vs. the Jet Chip Stage 2 module?

Jet Chip Module is only for non-FI motors (ECM). You have a PCM and it won't work on your car -- not the same connections.

FI -- Forced Induction (Too many acronyms). According to Jet Chip it is a 30 Mhz computer that alters fuel and timing via preset data -- a "canned tune". For us 2.4L owners it gets rid of the lousy low-end performance (under 4K RPM before the power-enrichment kicks in). It plugs in to our Engine Control Module -- ECM. 2.0's use Power Control Modules -- PCM (includes intake cooling and SC controls/sensors thus the different name). The connectors are not the same between the engines so you wouldn't be able to use it.

CORRECT! The 2.2s and 2.4s do not use the same ECM and Chevy changed the '08 models' ECMs too! The 2.4 module is too large to fit on the 2.2 ECM -- it hits the smaller connector on the right side of the ECM. Won't fit at all.

Fits '06 2.4L right? 10708s is listed for the '07 and '08 2.4L.

was there a noticeable change in performance on the low end and what mod's did you have on your cobalt when you had your chip in. i heard about them but never heard of anybody actually buying one and there were no test results. so info on this would be appreciated.

from what i saw, the jet chip seems to run quite lean (into the 13s AFR all through the powerband)

and yeah, joe, gimme a call and we will sort that out.
