No 02 sensors?

I have an 08 ls sedan 2.2 with dual cats. I was changin my oil and i was curious, i wrapped my hand around the pipe between the two cats no 02, then arond the second, no 02. Is there an 02 sensor anywhere besides the header? Gm that tired of worry about emmisions so they just toss two cats?

you have 2 o2 sensors, it's still required by federal emission laws. one is before the first cat, the second is between the two cats.
all cars sold in the US are required to have at least 2 o2 sensors per bank of cylinders, and most have 2 catalysts per bank.

only way to find out is to take it all off, oh and you do have them, or else the car would run like ****...no o2 means it will rich itself to max to prevent any damage to the engine,a nd you will throw a CEL...

yes, i read what you typed. from that, i deduced that either you're not very observant, or your car has been altered.
