View Full Version : 19" SS S/C wheel?... PenguinPIE 02-12-2005, 05:10 AM what happened to the 19" "RH Evolution" wheel that i saw earlier in the chevy site with the SS S/C?.....it looked so much better than the current production one.... :( Jase 02-12-2005, 08:06 PM as far as i remember the racing harts were a preproduction idea it was phased out to what you see now :( Player_One 02-14-2005, 09:10 PM I wouldn't get the 19's. It'll slow you down more than if it was lighter than a 16" rim. Rotational mass and unsprung weight. Will 16" rims fit the Cobalt SS or too small? City 02-14-2005, 09:56 PM If 16's fit the Cobalt coupe there shouldn't be any reason it won't fit the SS. aka_Matt 02-14-2005, 10:59 PM the reason they wouldn't fit is because it uses brake rotors an inch larger, but since the rotors are off of the malibu maxx, and it uses 16" wheels, then 16" wheels should fit as the minimum size Player_One 02-15-2005, 09:59 AM the reason they wouldn't fit is because it uses brake rotors an inch larger, but since the rotors are off of the malibu maxx, and it uses 16" wheels, then 16" wheels should fit as the minimum size That's usually the case. Usually a better trim will have better brakes/rotors/calipers. In my car's case, you can fit 15" rims on the base model but minimum 16" on mine. |
