Since you started driving the cobalt. The car likes to run, hard not to speed in this car ?

 

I received one on I75. Was getting on the ramp and nailed it. By the time I reached the end of the acceleration lane I was at 82. Unfortunately there was a sheriff sitting in the median facing me with radar. That ticket cost me 700 between the fine and lawyer, but no points and not on the record. Just call me dumb ass.

only 1 but it was 109 ina 50 zone now thats KPH but still double the speed limit lol. police officer was nice and reduced it to 25 over so only 172 and 2 points

 

2 tickets, one for doing 10 over, and the other was a careless driving(I was street racing caught in the act.).

I got both removed cause I took a stop class for the 10 over and a star class for the careless. Lucky me. I usually don't speed, so that probably won't happen again. And I gave up on the "old" race spots. I was sketchy that day anyways.

1 for doing 147 in a 100 zone (5 points 330 $)
1 for doing 77 in a 50 zone (2 points 125$)


and i got these two for the same infraction....
1 for doing 150 in a 100 zone (5 points 330$)
1 for a double lane cross( 3 points, 270$)

in 3 months


fighting the two last tickets in court in about 6 months, waiting for the court date...
the ****** cops was a jerk, he did not got me with the radar, i was only doing 135. (the damn cop was on the highway beside a truck when i merged onto the highway so i didnt see him so he followed me like 500 m. then i slowed down and then he pulled me over, when he pulled me over, i was directly in front of an exit so i pulled over as quickly as possible, crossed the beguining of the double lane going into an highway exit...he gave me a fine for a ****** double lane cross and he gave me a ticket for doing km more than i was really doing.....

so i got lawyer and a good one.


my neighbor is a cop and he told me to fight it.....without the radar, they have to follow you at least 1 to 2 km to have a good proff of your speed. thats what he told me.

he told me to fight every ticket i will have because 90 % of the time if you go in court to fight a ticket the general prosecutor will lower the fine and points before going in court.

i am folloing my speed limits now like its a religion. speeding cost money. and if i am lucky not my licence suspended for 3 months.

 

i only have got pulled over once, i was gettign off the exit onto the highways and didnt notice i went from 40 to 80 quickly and a state trooper pulled me over. He came up and told me it was a speed zone corridore (double fines and points) told him i didnt know that, said i was just gettign on the high way to take my drunk friend home. I then told him if i get a ticket with points ill loose my licence for a year because of my past. so he asked who i worked for and i told him the department of transpertation. he asked for my id, looked at it, gave it back and said you have a nice day adam, nice car by the way, get ur drunk friend home safely

Just got one last Saturday doing 98 in a 55 the $214 fine and automatic license suspension

 

yet to get one in the 'balt :knocks on wood: but my old mustang i had 30+ and got my license suspended 13 times...im 27, needless to say i was slightly retarded when i was younger

 

Only one. I got sick of the rock-spewing dump truck in front of me so when the road went from 2 lanes to 3 (passing lane in my direction), I stepped on it to get around the truck. Got nailed for 60 in a 50.

 

first 105 in a 55 $2400 fine and 3 days in jail
second 85 in a 55 $250 fine
third 87 in a 50 $300 fine
all out of state so still 0 points

 

0 in the cobalt, never been stopped or hassled.

Up to about 20 mph over the limit I can understand... beyond that you probably deserve what the court gives you.

i have gotten 0 not even pulled over hassled or talked to by a cop and thats even with my illegal tint

 

yeah and the guy in front of me in court got 40 hrs c/s and a 250$ fine for selling weed out of his car in a school zone. so right the court does know best

 

Haha. You are implying that I implied that the reason why I agree with the courts on this issue is because I always agree with the courts... but I can assure you I do not.
