I've noticed this trend in every Chevrolet small car I've been in. If you roll up both windows at the same time, the passenger one goes up slightly slower. Just do them one at a time :P

My G6 coupe does this too. You just get into the habbit of holding one finger on the button a tad longer. I am to the point now where I don't even think about it. Two fingers on the buttons, let one up, wait, let the other up.

It happened on my 2.4L and its happening on my ss/tc. If it gets REALLY slow, like you can count to 10 seconds before it goes up, then warranty that ****.

Its typical on a lot of GM vehicles, on my old Camaro it was rediculous. I think its because they were running both windows over the same relay, there was a kit put out to run a seperate relay for each that apparantly worked pretty well.

Its normal. I cant find my thread but I tested this. Since the passenger side window is slightly "further" away from its power source theres a little extra wire, therefore a little exra resistance. I put a multimeter on both motors and I cant remember the exact voltages but the drivers side was seeing 4.3 volts at the terminals and the passenger side was seeing like 4.1 volts or some ****.

It's normal. Just roll one window up at a time.

i have a 2005 ss/sc and i took it to the dealer for this they said they would grease the tracks under warranty so i took it up there a couple hours later got it back... still rolls up slow this was a couple years back... i guess we just have to learn to live with it better then having to roll them up and down manually right even tho it would probably be faster lol

It's not just a Cobalt thing. My 86 T-Type is the same, my Camaro is the same and so is my 06 Silverado.

Totally normal...on my '06, when the passenger started making a nasty squealing sound, and left marks on the glass, THEN I took it in for warranty.

Thankkkk you.

my last 06 balt, I counted, and it took the passengers side window 14 seconds to go up,

and that wasn't even the slowest speed it went up, sometimes if you had both of the windows going up, it would takke no lie, about 30-40 seconds.

it was rediculous.

Give it about 10 years or so and you won't even be able to roll it up 2" without giving it a 2 minute break. lol

Normal in all cars..... Window motors can have a slight variation....Dont sweat it unless it moves really really really slow....
