LSJ vs 06 Civic Si performance ...

Sorry if it's a repost ...

Go to www dot redlineforums dot com, then in the Ion Redline Discussion forum, then you'll see a post about some dyno runs comparing a Ion Redline and a Civic Si.

Isn't that a bit childish? This isn't 5th grade. You shouldn't block any URLs.

Civic SI isn't comparable power wise IMHO. I had an s2000 a few years ago and it was just barely quicker than my SS/SC stock for stock. The SS/SCs torque is much more liveable on a daily basis though.

it's a business.. as much as most adminsitrators let on like there's little to no money to be made on a forum, we lie lol.

most of us have a dedicated server, costs usually about $250 a month for an extremely high end one, on a badass backbone. i personally host almost 50 websites, most of them at $24 a month, and some at $49 month... then if you run a forum, charge $20-$30 a month for vendors, 10 vendors easily will pay for the server by itself, then you can hit the vendors up for free products, charge for a premium mebership, sell stickers, shirts whatever which turns into a double return investment for the forum.. cause the members pay for the shirts and it's advertising so they get double the return..

<edit> and i almost forgot the ads... i switched from google to yahoo ads last month and on each website i am pulling in about $40-$45 per day (yahoo pays out the wazoo for certain ads).. it just takes a little bit of research to get it like that, the only bad thing between yahoo/google ads is that with yahoo its a 45 day period between the end of the month and when you get paid </edit>

now, can you tell me why someone would not allow links to a forum they do not control?

Sure.
#1 it probably wouldn't take $2 out of your pocket
#2 it looks bad to the enthusiasts that support you

He didn't start the linking issue, they did. He's doing it in self defense, now get back on topic as this discussion is pointless.
