URGENT!! Installing Ion Recaro Rear Seat

Hey guys..

I might be picking up my Recaros tomorrow.. They're '04's with the blue. I have a 2.4 coupe. This set comes with fronts and rears. I'd like to use my Recaro rears if possible. At first I heard you couldn't, then I heard you could.. Anyone know for sure? And if so, how do you remove/install them? I'd need them to work/fit totally OEM. I never have anyone in the back, so the tray isn't a big deal. Just 2 more cup-holders.. haha And the Recaro fronts from the Ion DO totally bolt in 100% direct, correct? The only thing is the seatbelt warning cord thing.. I know the Ion's don't have that.. So do you just leave them unplugged and you're good to go? I could care less about a blinkly light.

Thanks!

i don't see why not. its not like they're attached to the front or anything. many people just swap the front seats.

either way its not hard to take out. you just have to remove the top parts by releasing the clips on the side near the door sills and pull them out. the bottom comes out by pulling up the rear of it (near trunk) and pulling rear and it should pull out of it's slot.

oh, the coupe and sedan have the same seat setup on both cobalt and ions i believe.

Yeah, because the bottom is just two small tab hooks on the bottom that you hook the seat over, then the rear part of the seat just slips into place, and the seat backs are held in by a rod on the one side and a tab on the other..
